Hello, this is Konomi

こんにちは。菊池木乃実です。イギリス人の夫、ポールと猫2匹（キティーとタビー）と一緒に、チリのパタゴニア地方で暮らしています。結婚した時に、「世界で一番美しい場所に家を建てあげる」と言ってくれた夫について土地を探しながら、いろいろな国を旅し、最終的に、地の果てパタゴニアに辿り着きました。

2007年に、アンデス山脈の麓にある小さな丘の上の土地を購入。2009年から、セルフビルドで家を建て（アースバック、アイスランディック・ターフ・ハウス、パッシブ・アニュアル・ヒート・ストレッジの３つの工法を組み合わせて、世界でたった1つしかない家を作りました）、畑を作って、オーガニック野菜を育て、1200本以上の木を植えて、たった２本しか木が生えていなかった土地に、森を蘇らせました。

今では、鳥やミツバチ、カエルや昆虫など、たくさんの野生動物に囲まれて暮らしています。私は、パタゴニアでの暮らしが大好き。厳しい自然の中でのシンプルな暮らしは、私に多くの気づきを与えてくれました。このサイトでは、パタゴニアでの暮らしをシェアして行きます。みなさんに、楽しんでいただけたら、嬉しいです。

Hello, this is Konomi. I live in a small farm in Chilean Patagonia with my husband, Paul and two cats, Kitty and Tabby. Since 2009, we moved to a small village of La Junta at the foot of Andes mountain after a search for the most beautiful place on the planet. We live off the grid. We built our own house which is very unique and only one in the world, applying alternative techniques including Earthbag, Icelandic Turf House and Passive Annual Heat Storage, curved out a beautiful organic terraced vegetable gardens, and planted more than one thousand trees to regenerate nature. Now we live among birds, bees, insects and frogs. I love our life and I hope you enjoy your visit to my website!
